Automobile companies know how to deal with customers not only before selling but also after selling of automobiles.

The automobile industry is stepping up in a BIG way to help their customers affected by the massive Michaung cyclone! All the major car makers, from mid-size to luxury brands, have launched awesome assistance programs.

TVS Motorcycles kicked things off by donating a HUGE 3 crores to the Chief Minister’s relief fund. On top of that, they promised extra support services in the hard-hit areas of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry. Yamaha and Suzuki also guaranteed FREE roadside assistance and lubricant support for engine repairs – with a lightning-fast 24 hour turnaround time. The Suzuki team said they’ve mobilized their dealers to provide FREE checkups and replacements of oil and filters.
Royal Enfield joined in by offering complimentary roadside assistance and maintenance for vehicles in the flooded regions.

Hyundai donated an impressive 3 crores for cyclone relief efforts. Plus, they assembled a dedicated squad to prioritize affected customers with FREE towing. On top of that, a 50% discount on depreciation costs! Toyota, Mahindra, and Tata extended no-cost inspections and discounts on insurance claims too.

Even the luxury brands Volkswagen and Audi promised free roadside service and urgent repairs for water-damaged cars. Nissan and Tata had separate rapid response units working around the clock. All automakers are supplying free tow trucks and flatbed transport to speed help to those in need. And a sweet 10% discount on oils and filters in the disaster zones.

It’s awesome to see how the auto industry is stepping up however they can during this crisis. While most industries asked for tax breaks due to corona, car companies didn’t – only focused on assisting customers. A big round of applause is deserved for their community spirit!
