Indian Pacer Mohammed Shami has been nominated for Arjuna Award and the men’s doubles badminton pair nominated for Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.
Indian Pacer Md. Shami is running to get second highest honor in sports that is Arjuna Award. According to news agency ANI, initially Shami was not in the list, but BCCI (Board of Cricket control in India) made a special request to sports ministry to include him also. Shami was a leading wicket taker with 24 wickets at an average of just 5.26.
From men’s doubles badminton pair Satwik Siraj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were nominated for Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.
