The shocking smoke attack in the Lok Sabha chamber has left everyone startled, but the Indian MPs bravely confronted the attacker. Many people would hesitate to take on an attacker due to fear of potentially harmful weapons, yet our MPs in the parliament bravely attempted to apprehend him without hesitation. There is usually no security personnel in the MPs’ assembly area unless an unusual incident occurs. As soon as the incident occurred and before security personnel arrived, the MPs who were in the area quickly surrounded the attacker from all sides. They successfully captured the individual and handed him over to the security personnel for further investigation.
As of right now, precisely 22 years have passed since the unannounced attack on our parliament that took place on the same day in 2001. A similar event involving unknown individuals occurred in parliament today. According to sources, the attacker went inside the visitors’ chamber by the reference of Pratap Simha, a Mysore BJP MP.
